In Memory Of
Eugene Whitby
(16/09/1961 - 04/01/2018)
Eugene’s dream was to establish a Traffic Control company that gave equal chances to all workers alike, engaging the community and creating employment opportunities for local Aboriginal people.
Juurlu Baba Yamtji is the Yamitji phrase for "Salt Water People".
Situated in Geraldton, Western Australia we are based on the traditional lands of the Yamitji People. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we live and work. We further acknowledge our Elder’s past, present and future.
Baba Marda Road Services was formed as an equal opportunity company with the intention of introducing Aboriginal people into the work force to help create new and interesting opportunities for Aboriginal communities. Our goal is to participate within our community as equals and to this end, we employ local Aboriginal people and treat them with the respect and dignity that all people alike should receive.
We have over time continuously developed and refined our policies and procedures to assist us in addressing the continuously changing and challenging demands of the industry. We do so to help us achieve our business goals safely and effectively.
